About Miss Nikki The Stylist

For as long as I can remember, hair care has been a part of who I am.

I began doing hair at just eight years old, styling my mother’s hair, my aunts’, and anyone who would sit in my chair. What started as a childhood passion quickly became a lifelong calling. By the age of 19, I began doing hair professionally, and now, with over 26 years of experience, my mission has grown far beyond hairstyling alone.

At Miss Nikki The Stylist Hair Salon, we believe in putting healthy hair and scalp first — styling second.

My passion is to help women understand that healthy hair is not defined by length alone. Healthy hair is hair that has been intentionally nurtured, cared for, protected, and loved. I created this salon to change the trajectory of hair care in our communities — to move away from damaging practices, lack of education, and unhealthy hair habits, and toward restoration, empowerment, and true hair wellness.

In 2016, after transitioning to a vegan lifestyle, I began creating my own plant-derived hair care products in my kitchen for myself and my family. What started in simple bowls, cups, and bottles soon became something much bigger. Our hair became healthier, fuller, shinier, thicker, and more manageable than ever before.

When I opened my salon in 2020, I introduced the products to one client. After seeing incredible improvement in her hair and scalp health, I began using the products as part of my salon’s regular healthy hair care regimen. Client after client experienced transformations — healthier scalps, stronger hair, improved manageability, reduced breakage, and visible overall improvement in the condition of their hair.

As demand continued to grow, what once began in my kitchen evolved into a professional hair care line now formulated alongside a licensed cosmetic chemist. Today, our vegan, plant-derived hair care system is designed to nourish the hair and scalp without harsh chemicals while supporting healthy hair care practices from the inside out.

Miss Nikki The Stylist Hair Salon is more than a salon — it is a peaceful, Christian-based environment where every client receives a personalized one-on-one experience centered around care, education, and transformation.

What truly makes this brand different is the heart behind it.

I believe hair care is my God-given calling. I believe my hands are anointed to care for the crowns of the women who sit in my chair. Every transformation, every testimony, and every healthy hair journey reminds me that this work is bigger than beauty alone. My purpose is to empower women around the world to feel confident, cared for, and beautiful while embracing the crown they naturally have.
